Running a business is tricky enough – plenty of balls to keep up in the air – without being expected to know every one of the customers who pop out of the broadband cable.
It is, however, exciting to be carrying out a little work for MTV; in truth a while since I last watched it as coincidentally it is a while since I last went to the gym but I remember it as great from back in the day. So when MTV call up and want to order a couple of birthday bottles for Alexa Chung, we think great. Not the only personalised birthday bubbles ordered yesterday, but very exciting nonetheless.
“You do know who Alexa Chung is, don’t you?” comes down the ‘phone. Aha, here’s a dilemma I suspect – quick glance at Nick and James – “do you?” I whisper. Now what would you do? Should I lie or ‘fess up? Brain rattles as she must be well known but where have we been living and how come the grey stuff is drawing a blank? Is she on X-factor, Strictly, Big Brother, in the Jungle, Corrie, Enders, Blue Peter, Heartbeat or Last of the Summer Wine? Obviously some connection with MTV…
But all is clear; thanks wikipedia. Alexa Chung is a celeb – and seemingly a columnist, presenter, model and artist to boot. A native of Privett (Hampshire), Alexa is certainly pretty and looks like she would be great fun. Also, we now know she rocks MTV Rocks.
AND – it’s her birthday today so many happy returns. Hope there are plenty of fireworks for you and the two bottles of personalised Prosecco aid merriment.
